Jack Petchey Awards

Starr and Kallai were the two students who were nominated by Francis Barber for the Jack Petchey awards which were held at the Civic Suite at Wandsworth Town Hall on Wednesday 1st February.

Kallai has made incredible progress in recent weeks. His attendance is excellent and he has been working really hard and is doing really well, especially in Art and PE. Kallai is a role model to his peers and we are very proud of his efforts.

Starr has worked incredibly hard, especially in Art and English. She perseveres and has produced some impressive work. This has especially been seen in her art and design portfolio which is excellent. Starr has been a pleasure to teach.

And teacher Thomas Stirling was nominated for a Leaders award! Thomas has been teaching at Francis Barber for 15 years. He has a true passion for sport and has found it can be used to help try and transform young peoples lives, helping them to build life skills such as resilience, determination, teamwork and confidence
