Curriculum and Future Plans
Individualised timetables will be developed for each young person which cater for, not only, their academic, social and emotional needs but, also, for the targets agreed in their EHCPs. The Pathways Team support development of a positive learning environment with high expectations. Where possible, the Team plan to reintegrate the young people back into mainstream education as soon as a suitable provision has been identified by SNAS. At this time, in conjunction with the identified provision, a reintegration package is agreed and implemented for transition with targeted support from the Pathways Team. If appropriate to the students need, Key Stage 4 students will follow course leading to external accreditation. This includes Entry Level Certificates, Functional Skills, AQA Unit Awards, IGCSE and GCSEs with an emphasis on Mathematics, English and Science.
